After
posting a little information about City Tour Bus on my previous post Nol Rupiah Keliling Jakarta (in Indonesia). Have you
read it? If so, thank a lot. But if haven’t, please go here and enjoy reading! Hehe.
Anyway, now I’m gonna share my own experience enjoying the bus and some places
I visited. It is actually a very very late post, but let me share.
Hehe yaps,
like Jeremy from Korean Drama “He’s Beautiful” who always waste his time on a
bus when he dejected, he felt heartbroken because his feeling to Go Minam, I
also love to go outside and wasting time on a bus to neutralize my feelings,
wearing mask to hide my duck face while crying. And I choose this bus, City
Tour. Huft forget this feeling and just let’s continue hehe. Anyway, my
favorite seat was at the left side, I could see the outside clearly.
So, few
times ago I and my friend from Bandung Sofi met up because we had holiday,
yeay. I suggested her to go around some place in Jakarta with City Tour Bus.
First of all
we went to Monas by Trans Jakarta or Busway. We stopped at Monas bus stop. And
we started our trip here. We went to some places by City Tour Bus and took many
pictures. Okay guys here are some places that we visited. Check this out ~
Because we only
need to cross the way from the bus stop, so the first place we visited was the
National Museum. But... unfortunately we didn’t enter the museum, because at
the time it was crowded by visitors, so we just enjoying at the outside of the
museum. It’s okay, because the outside still had good spots for taking
pictures.
Fyi, National
Museum or Elephant Museum is the first and largest museum in Southeast Asia. Located
at Merdeka Barat street in central Jakarta. For you guys who want to visit,
just come here on Tuesday – Friday at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday at
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. because on Monday and national holidays the museum is closed.
Elephant
Museum collecting many ancient objects from all over Indonesia. They are
ancient statues, inscriptions, ancient artifacts, and other craft items.
This is it,
the icon of Jakarta. National Monument or usually called Monas is a 132 meters
high memorial monument erected in memory of the resistance and the Indonesian
people’s struggle for independence from Dutch colonial.
Monas is always
crowded, espesially at weekends, many people come to exercise, or just to
travel. From the top of Monas we can see the view of the city. There are also
diorama room and museum to add our historical knowledge. And it has Monas Park
for just relax or do execise.
Anyway, from
National Museum we went to Monas by crossing the bridge. But before crossing
the bridge, we passed Sapta Pesona building which is the office of
Wonderfull Indonesia and Pesona Indonesia. They are country brands of Tourism
Minister. And you know what? I’m so in love and really want to work there. So I
took a picture there. And wish someday I’ll be a part of them, Amen.
Next, we
crossed to Monas, and yeah that was so hot that time, so we used umbrella. We
took pictures and just sitting relax at the park.
Istiqlal
Mosque
Well, from
Monas we went to the largest mosque in Southest Asia by City Tour of course.
And you guys know, Istiqal mosque is very pretentious and majestic. Unfortunately,
we were having red days, so we’re not allowed to enter and take pray in the
mosque.
Right across
the mosque, there is also a majestic chruch, Cathedral chruch. These mosque and
church were purposely built as a symbol of tolerance.
After took a
break at Istiqlal, we continued our trip to Old Town. From Istiqlal we took the
City Tour again. But before arrived at Old Town, we had to pass some stops, but
yeah we enjoyed it.
So many
interesting places you can visit and choose as your taking-picture-spot, because
there are some museum with ancient architectural design.
Low Bat and Went Back Home..
Yap, after a
long day trip, sun just went down left the sky. And our battery had been low, couldn’t
take any photo more. So we just ended up the evening by drinking fresh coconut water
and went back home.
For you guys
who’s still confused about to spend your weekend, but don’t have enough time or
budget to go out of city, just go to some places in the city and try City Tour
bus like what we did. Don't just sitting at home hehe.
And without
forget I wanna say thank you so much for reading, hope it inform you. I’ll see
you soon on my next post, wish me will get some fresh idea to write as soon as
possible. Bye and happy weekend. 😄
Regards ✋
